Electronic instruments Contact

In order to be operational, a force transducer must be linked to a device allowing for the conditioning of its electrical supply and the measurement of the output signal. Specific instruments are used for these functions, commonly known as conditioners, measurement bridges, indicators or digital compensators.

Load cells manufacturers have developed specific electronic equipment allowing optimizing settings, measurement conditions and accuracy.

The latest advances in the technique of dynamometers consist in integrating electronic equipment meant to the digitalize the signal of the transducer (digital load cell or torque transducers with USB output), so as to constitute a single device that can be directly connected to and power supplied by a laptop for direct display and recording of the applied forces.

The latest developments by Sensy now allow operating these digital signals with a PDA or a Smartphone, wireless, without any loss of measurement precision. This approach has been validated by prominent metrology laboratories
